A FREE, live Pre-Rosh Hashana shiur

What Hashem REALLY cares about on Rosh Hashana

What if Hashem's love was an integral piece of Rosh Hashana, and fear of failing judgement was not?

Rosh Hashana is an enormously powerful time - but not for the reason most people think.

R’ Yehuda Peltz will outline the fundamental hashkafic system based on facts, so you can relate to Hashem correctly, and daven with revolutionized kavana.

REPLAY WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR 48 HOURS

Find out...

The difference between Gan Eden and Olam HaBa — and why most people confuse them.

Why striving for “perfection” is actually as self-centered as it sounds. (yes, it's a bad thing.)

The Ramchal’s framework that makes sense of Hashem’s love, mitzvos, and judgment.

Why most people never feel like they’re progressing in avodas Hashem.

The hidden danger of focusing too heavily on the “reward and punishment” model of Yiddishkeit.

The foundational shift that transforms Elul from pressure into anticipation.

Does this resonate?

“Hashem loves you. Unconditionally.”

Of course He does!

But thinking about that too much in Elul seems... risky.

Yes, He loves me, but ultimately He'll be judging me on Rosh Hashana, so it doesn't pay to take it too easy!

I guess I see Him as a parent, who loves me deeply, and BECAUSE of that love, will still hold me accountable for playing hooky or swiping cookies from the jar.

I know it's true deep down, but no one says this unless it’s in the context of, “you’re going through a terrible time but...”

It's hard to believe it on a real practical level, when you see such painful stuff going on - and I'm so busy that I don't think about it much.

Maybe purposely.

I probably shouldn't say it, but it almost seems like it's cliché phrase they say to teens in the hope that they'll stick to the straight and narrow.

The full, exhilaratingly perfect picture, awaits.

Hashem as a loving parent, and Hashem who orchestrates pain in the world, are both truthful perspectives - but they are incomplete.

Hashem is the creator

He rewards and punishes

He is all-powerful, beyond our comprehension.

All of that is true. But there is more.

And without it, Rosh Hashanah can feel strict, heavy, and frightening

What this shiur will do for you

This shiur will walk you through the why-don't-more-people-know-this system of FACTS at the core of Torah.

It’s not new. It’s found in Chazal, in the Rishonim, in the Ramchal.

But it’s rarely taught in it's entirety.

And the ideas themselves are not all new to you. But the way they lock together suddenly opens up a new world of upward movement.

When you see it, the puzzle pieces lock into place: Hashem’s love, Torah, mitzvos, Olam HaBa, and the true purpose of creation.

And... you’ll finally have the foundation upon which to build a real, loving relationship with Hashem, ESPECIALLY in Elul.

The Stakes

Rosh Hashana is an enormously powerful time - but not for the reason most people think.

Once you have the hashkafa correct, and you see Hashem in a way that is grounded in truth, as brought down in the Sefarim Hakedoshim, your davening will be incomparable.

Think of it like this.

If you walk into your boss's office, knowing he's ready to roast you, the first words out of your mouth will be different than the ones you would say if you thought he was about to embrace you, praise you and hand you a generous bonus.

A relationship is only possible when it's based on an accurate perception of who both parties are, and what they care about.

Who This Is For

  • You’ve ever wondered: “What does it even mean that Hashem loves me?”

  • You’re tired of the guilt → push harder → give up → berate myself → guilt cycle.

  • You want to walk into Rosh Hashanah with excitement about Who you're going to spend the day with, and what you are about to achieve - instead of serious fear.

  • You’re ready to hear fundamental Torah concepts that will flip your perspective to a sustainable one - one that you feel hugely excited to pass on to your children.

Is this inspirational?

Yes - but it's not a flash-in-the-pan high.

Here you'll learn the why behind it all.
It’s the accurate foundation of your relationship with Hashem.

It will last, Be"H, and color all of your avoda going forward.
